What is Data encryption?
Data Encryption, is the process of changing information in such a way as to make it unreadable by anyone except those possessing special “key” The special “ key” allows them to change the information back to its original, readable form.
Why is it important?
Encryption is important because it allows you to securely protect data that you don’t want anyone else to have access to. Businesses use it to protect corporate and trade secrets, governments use it to secure classified information, and many individuals use it to protect personal information to guard against things like identity theft. Encryption is used to securely protect folder contents, which could contain emails, medical history, tax information, credit card numbers, or any other sensitive information. This way, even if your computer is stolen that data is safe.
What is Line Encryption?
All communication is send over some or other communication line, Fiber link or radio wave i.e. Mobile networks, radio transmitters and the normal telco infrastructure. Due to advanced technology, hackers can intercept this communications through different methods whether it is data or voice. Line encryptors is created to secure all communications that is used over any “Copper or Fiber link or data line” to be encrypted and the information cannot be accessed or intercepted without the proper “key” to decrypt the message at the other end of the line.
Why is this important?
Again, it is important to encrypt sensitive data including voice calls. We see many times that companies are checking your credentials over the line when you want information. Once again, these methods make is hazardous for you because of identity theft. However, this method is not really used for identity theft we know that it is definitely used for intruding on businesses and business conversations and espionage between countries, political parties etc
